The new R variant substitutes a cocking bolt for the trendy side lever cocking mechanism, expanding the attractiveness of this highly flexible PCP. It has all the time-proven features of the Wolverine 2 and now has the option of a grey laminate or walnut thumbhole stock.
The Daystate Wolverine R’s side lever may be adjusted from right to left operation, enhancing the thumbhole stock’s ambidextrous design. The measured air control that it adds to the Rs action was designed exclusively for Daystate in collaboration with the globally famous Dutch regulator specialist, Huma.
Not only does it increase shot-to-shot consistency as the rifle cycles through its useable air charge, but it also improves downrange accuracy. Furthermore, the Hi-Power and 303 variants return about 200% more bullets each fill-up than the normal Wolverine 2, because of the Huma’s very efficient utilization of air.
