It’s no secret that all BSAs are known for their exceptional accuracy, and the Silver Star sports target rifle (4.5mm) is no exception.
The Silver Star PCP was created primarily for competitive usage and has a slew of features often reserved for much more expensive rifles. The exceptionally accurate BSA cold hammer forged barrel is housed in an appealing ambidextrous beech stock with laser checkering on the forend and pistol grip. The height adjustable cheek piece and multi adjustable butt pad give maximum ergonomics by allowing for individual adjustment both vertically and in length of pull. Cocking the rifle is as simple as drawing the new BSA “T” handle bolt back and reinserting it into the chamber.
A two-stage adjustable match trigger, on-board pressure gauge, and rapid fill port are also included.
The detachable air cylinder, which is pre-set to one of two power levels, is the Silver Star’s greatest distinguishing feature when compared to previous BSA models to date. The cylinder is available in 6ftlbs or 12ftlbs sizes, allowing it to be utilized for both short and long range competition. A second cylinder may be acquired as an extra accessory, allowing the shooter to use both power levels with the same rifle. The cylinder can be readily removed for replacement, although this isn’t necessary for refilling because charging can be done through the rapid fill outlet.
6ft lb models include high quality dioptre sights, however 12ft pounds rifles are sent without the dioptre unit to enable for the mounting of a telescopic sight.
