The Gold Star SE is the first purpose-built PCP target rifle to emerge from the Birmingham Factory. Accuracy is the most important prerequisite for disciplines such as field target or bench rest. The upgraded cold hammer forged BSA barrel delivers match-winning accuracy as standard on the BSA Gold Star SE. The recipe for this improved barrel is highly guarded, but the effects are clear: the Gold Star SE will shoot pellet on pellet at long ranges. BSA installs an air stripper system to fine-tune the pellet of choice for maximum accuracy.
To take full use of the controlled actions capabilities, the trigger of a target gun must allow a clean release of the shot. As standard equipment, the BSA Gold Star includes a fully adjustable match grade unit. Butt pad adjustments for length of pull, height, camber adjustment, and cheek adjustments for up and down and side to side are all included in the fully adjustable black pepper laminate target stock. A hamster comes standard for comfortable field target practice and may be removed for hunting or bench rest use.
The positive bolt action is simple to operate, and the single shot system may be changed to a 10-shot magazine as needed. The rifle’s power is calibrated to ensure long-range accuracy for target or field use. The BSA Gold Star SE is a match-ready rifle that is equally at home on the range as it is hunting in the field.
